I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

Tom's trial got pushed back by 3 months, so he's been coming home at a normal hour the last few days and we LOVE it!

Almost Nursery Time

Madeline will be 18 months old on July 11th. I can hardly wait to bring her to nursery, so I can actually get something out of church again. Of course, I still may have to wander the halls during Sunday School.

Play, Play, Play

Madeline tries to do everything her big brother does including walking up slides.
After a full day of cleaning, shopping, and playing, my kids enjoyed a quick game of Mario Kart after their "baths". (Madeline doesn't actually take baths anymore. I actually soaped her up and took her out back and hosed her off. Oddly, she didn't mind it as much as she minds the bath.)

Tom plays basketball with the Elder's Quorum on Thursday nights. He comes home looking like this:

Cool New Toys

Did I ever mention that my kiddos got some really sweet new rides? They did.

San Jose

We took a trip down to Almaden Valley, San Jose today and fell in love. The area is so pretty! Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures of the scenery, but rather my children playing at a cool park down there.

I could totally live in Almaden Valley. It was gorgeous, the schools are great, and it's a little less expensive than where we currently live. Maybe next year we will look into the area more.

Pool Time

My good friend, Amy, who just moved out of our ward down to San Jose invited us over to swim in their pool. This was the first time we've been to the pool this year and my kids had the best time. Even Madeline who no longer likes baths, loved the pool.

Daddy Time

Andrew and Madeline love their daddy so much! We've missed him lately due to his crazy work schedule. We decided to visit him at work on Saturday. My kids ate up every moment of attention they could get from him! We are so glad we live so close to Tom's work!

Andrew can be an amazing helper when he wants to be. Today he helped me put together favors for a baby shower. He loved helping and he really was helpful.

Madeline found a slide she can go down by herself over and over again.

Andrew loves to get on the roof of this little house at the park, so far he hasn't fallen off. Thank goodness!

How cool are these crayon water features? Madeline even wanted to play in them for the first time ever. This was the first time I hadn't bother to bring a swimsuit for her since she normally won't go near the water.
